Uno de los mejores hosteles que he visto ! Perfecto para viajeros solos, ya que el equipo siempre organisa unos eventos para familiziarse. El ambiante es muy agradable ! Auberge de jeunesse très sympa, à 15mn du centre à pied, avec une équipe très sympa qui propose régulièrement des animations : paella, sangria,... contribuant ainsi à donner une atmosphère très chaleureuse à l'hôtel ! I enjoyed our stay at this hostel. My boyfriend and I stayed in a Private room so I can not speak for the dorms, but our room was good enough for what we needed. Computers available in the main area, at nights dinner was made by the staff and people staying at the hostel so that was fun. Didnt like that we had to share the toilets and showers, but they were clean and actually had women's shower supplies there so that was really nice since we were traveling with ryanair. Definitely the best place to stay in Madrit! Mostly because of the great staff – friendly and always ready to help you. The hostel guys will take care of you even better than your mother. They will not only recommend you the best places to eat&drink, go for shopping, party or watch the sunset but also cook (best pizza – Leon, best Paella – Mark) and make free drinks for you (best Mojito - Leon). Hostel One Malasana was the perfect place for our weekend trip to Madrid. Located in the super nice area Malasana with many cafe's and restaurants. It was easy to access the city by Metro very close to the Hostel. The staff was very helpful also when we were searching for a shop to buy a RC helicopter for our kid :o) We stayed in room no. 1 next to the reception, this was not so good as the noise from the door in the night and people talking in the reception was annoying when we tried to sleep. Good environment, clean common area and kitchen with a helpful/nice staff. I will say that as of Oct.02.2011 theree is a case of bed bugs at this hostel, and I wasn´t the only person complaning about it - so in more than one of the rooms. You are hard pressed to find anything in Madrid bed bug free unless you are in a hotel...I had bites but kept my things in the locker so as so not bring anything with me - I advise you to do the same.
