Absolutely fantastic. Monica (the owner) is great and goes the extra mile. The staff all speak English and Spanish and try to accomodate you. The only downside is that the directions are wrong and I had a hard time finding it. The hostel is located on the street parallel to Yaxitchalan.

The dorms were over-booked and I ended up with the hallway "couch" bed. I wasn't happy with this initially, but once I was moved into the dorms things worked out fine. The dorms also had an extra air-con installed, which made the heat manageable. Before that it was difficult to sleep. It's Mexico, so expect to put up with some warm nights. Monika seems to be putting money into the place, which is a good sign. There is also rumors of a pool being built, but don't quote me on this. The wash

The hostel was excellent. Staff were great and very helpful. Hostel also seemed to attract a good mix of people. Beware the feral child but even he grows on you after a while. I plan to stay again

Staff was awesome! They even cooked a huge omlet in the morning with orange juice and fruit. And they had AC!!
