I was told there was a problem and I had to go to the Royal Hostal. Although a little disappointing at the moment, the latter hostal was good. So, please note that my ratings are for the Royal Hostal and not for the Hostel Torres!!! Best regards Giuseppe Giuseppe, from Italy ~ 22nd Jul 2009

The toliet pipe had a leek so urine would spill onto the bathroom floor and stink up the bathroom. The walls and windows were very thin making sleep impossible. The tv did not work.I hated this place!!Hate! This was one very nasty place. GROSS! Andre, from Philippines ~ 8th Jul 2009

I have stayed in hostels all over the world, and this is more of a hotel than a hostel. TV in the room, en suite bathroom, actual closets and dressers... plus maid service where they make your bed and change your towels/sheets... towels/sheets you didn't have to put a deposit down for. And it's cheap! My only complaint is that there isn't a deadbolt or anything on the inside of the door, so the maid walked in on us in our room a couple of times.
