Hostel Trotamundos en Alajuela, Costa Rica

This hostel seems very well run and clean. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but the inside is welcoming and safe. The beds were very comfortable, much more than some hostels! There's free internet and a small lounge to hang out in. I stayed here on 2 different nights as it's very close to the San Jose airport. There was hardly anyone here as it was the low season. I would suggest to fly into the Liberia airport to avoid Alajuela and San Jose altogether! May have been one of the best options in Alajuela but that isn ´t saying much! Lauren, from USA ~ 10th Jan 2009
