Hostel de Sal en Alicante, Spain

Complimentary continental breakfast in the morning but no kitchen so not great for those who want to save money by cooking. Also no Internet facilities. Lounge area nice and spacious but no one from the hostel hung out there the nights when I was staying. Directions to the hostel are not very good since it just tells you where to get off the bus but not how to walk to the hostel once you're at the stop - get a map of the city before you arrive. Unfortunatly, our stay at Hostel de la sal has been a disappointing one. Despite the hostel's friendly and helpful staff, and its excellent location, we cannot recommend staying there, and wish we had booked another place. Without our knowing we were booked to a jail-cell like room on the 3rd floor – with no elevator (naturally it was a tough climb what with our bags and one of our party being disabled). The hostel is a very good hostel with a good locatoin. they say the breakfast is included but it is a little bit funny. but better than nothing. the stuff is very helpful. since the hostel is new there is no internet. that was bad. but I would recommend the hostel. Me and my friend really enjoyed our stay in hostel del sal in alicante. The location is great, the beach was only 5 minutes away and it was right in the middle of the "party area" of the town, also it was in a walking distanse to many of the touristsights in the town. However the breakfast is very limited, it consist mainly of some cake and a cup of coffee, also it is very loud, if you want peace and quiet you should not choose this hostel. Wonderful and realxing sundeck but they close it at midnight unfortunately. Very nice and comfy common room with enough space to socialize with others. Very helpful and friendly staff.
