Hotel Du Commerce en Pamukkale, Francia

Hotel was in process of repairing. There were boxes with paintings everywhere.Workers drilled making dust everywhere. They put me in the room, which has been painted just a day ago. I couldn’t stay there… Staff lady proposed me another room, it didn’t safe me from the smell of paint. At the last night I was awaked by the mouse which has been running on the paper packages and searching for food at the rubbish container, which has not been cleaned up for 5 days (all days I stayed at the hote Daria, from Ukraine ~ 2nd Feb 2012

This place is FANTASTIC for location. A 3-5min walk from Notre Dame, by lots of bakeries, restaurants, stores, etc. 15-20 min walk from the Louvre. Finding a place like that at such a low price is rare. The place itself wasn't the cleanest by any means but we took it for what it was, a cheaper hostel. The only real concern would be the abundance of black mold in the showers. A bit of a health concern. It's on a louder street so you have to choose between quiet and air circulation in the room

thanks a lot for of those comments. you are right the shower room was not very nice, but we did a complete renovation of the shower rooms this week; as you could see there is a big renovation programe in the hotel that will bed finished in a few weeks! best regards

Has character, but not the comforts. There is no kitchen, only a sink, vending machine, coffee machine, no microwave, nor refrigerator.Wifi is available without charge, small lobby seating is colorful and comfortable.Two common showers by the lobby. Rooms are various sizes, but no elevator for the 4+ stories, and a maze of stairs.Luggage storage available Room with street view is noisy. Excelente ubicación (barrio latino). Los baños son compartidos y hay que pagar para ducharse (2 euro x día), pero todo estuvo siempre limpio. El personal del hotel es muy agradable, hablan inglés y entienden español. La habitación estaba bastante bien y las camas eran cómodas. Hay un espacio donde cada uno puede prepararse su propio desayuno. Tienen Internet y una pc de uso público que puede usarse sin costo alguno. Definitivamente recomendable. Excellent place to stay. The location is perfect in a beautiful neighborhood, 10 minutes walk from Notre-Damme de Paris. You pay for showers but is not a problem as the hotel is very cheap, clean and pleasant. Highly recommended! Jaiagaia, from Canada ~ 30th Jul 2011
