Great location, short walking distance to the Shin-Imamiya station. However its easy to miss it as there is no English sign. I would probably miss it if I didnt read the reviews online. Its actually located next to Hotel Sun Plaza. I stayed in a twin-private ensuite, very clean & no smoky smell. This hotel is very new comparing with Hotel Sun plaza. For female traveller, better avoid going out late as it isnt a very safe neighborhood. I will stay there again considering the cheap pric On Ki Rikke, from Hong Kong ~ 26th Nov 2009

the location is very great. it near the JR station. you can walk from the station to there with a blink of eyes. but the bad point is that area is not a safe place. it s ok to stay there. but you shouldnt walk around that area. just only station and your hotel. that s enough. the price is very cheap so u gain what you pay. Too bad that their is no kitchen. The doors are not closed to the top so you could easily open the door without a key. The hostel has no english sign, only japanese. It was hard to find. Joerg, from Germany ~ 7th Nov 2009

The location is great. Right next to several subway lines and near the Shinsekai area and Tsutenkaku tower. It is also very clean. and has free internet in the lobby. Not much of an atmosphere for meeting other travelers though. There is no sign clearly marking the hotel, so it can be a bit difficult to find if you don't read Japanese. I ended up walking past it a few times. The reception was only open from 4-10pm. Good deal for the price, but not much fun. Kyle, from USA ~ 5th Oct 2009

I stayed in a room with my own bathroom. The hotel seemed fairly new so everything was clean and seemed new. Overall a nice place, I would stay there again. David, from Cambodia ~ 1st Oct 2009

big gap in the door, horrible. just 2 showers. and they smoke everywhere. cleaning average, but not that clean. but its really cheap in comparison, so we stay even 5 days longer. and you have 2 capsueles...just that you know it...sleeping in one bed is quite hard... We booked the 3600yen twin capsule. Smell of disinfected liquid and bad air but clean sheets. The room had a door and lock but huge gap on top of the door(about 1 ft gap). I guess it was because there was no aircon in the room and depended on the air con in the hallway to pass air through the gap at the top of the door.We were there in July and it was too warm inside the room.Common Shower had a lock but only 2 showers for the whole place for females.Probably caters more for the male clientele. Staff was incompetent even when spoken Japanese to - said to check in at 10, we arrived at 10 and they were closed. The rooms were large business style and seemed nice and clean on first impression. However, there was an inch-thick layer of dust under the beds and hair in the showers. Additionally, the hotel only offered onsen to men. Veronika, from USA ~ 6th May 2009

Several people had problems when they booked with websites. Understanding/speaking English needs work. Nathaniel, from USA ~ 2nd Jun 2009
