Short version: BED BUGS. Long versions: First of all, let me say that my first impression of the hotel was not horrible, seeing as it appeared better than a hotel that I had previously used in Paris - but this does not mean anything. Hotels in Paris are not particularly pretty... So anyway - the first odd thing my girlfriend and I noticed was that a previous customer's hair was still on the sheets and pillows. I really hate to mention it but the woman who was at the desk when I arrived was very difficult to communicate with. The first room I entered was pretty dirty. I asked to switch to one with a shower and it was better. The WIFI was very iffy for me as well. Erin, from Canada ~ 30th Oct 2011

Our room had a really neat floor to ceiling french door windows with a tiny balcony that I really enjoyed just sitting in and journaling. its in a really neat part of monte marte extremely close to two metro stops. I used Jules Joffrin most of the time. The staff is very friendly and laid back. Yes, monte marte is farther from the main part of paris but the metro will get you there just fine!
