Ideal Youth Hostel en Jakarta, Espana

Big building with 4 floors. No kitchen only microwave oven, few tablewares, no soap in WC, hard door, The worst: night staff. Sb took my bed when I went back. I took another empty bed with permission and asked the night staff to change my bed's number in their system to ensure that the cleaning staff knew my new bed was occupied. He refused and insisted that I paied too much attention. He said "WHY DON'T YOU TAKE A SINGLE ROOM IF YOU CARE ABOUT THESE TINY & FREQUENTLY HAPPENING THINGS." WENWEN, from China ~ 23rd May 2012

Not all the staff members speak English. They weren't very helpful with finding accomodation for a few more days. No free internet. The room wasn't very clean. What frustrated us most was the fact that someone enterned our room without permission.We hardly lose anything, but that person - most probably a cleaning lady - took our cups, but she didn't clean at all. that's the worst one since i live so many hostel. 1,the staff was impolite when we arrive.Even next day we ask another staff about the sightseeing in barcelona,they're very unpatient. 2,the room competely dirty,and untidy,when we bedding the bedsheet, we try to get another "new"bedsheet,well, it's not clean as well. 3,I can't accept they don stop the male use the female bathroom. ther're 2 bathroom only.It's not enough for more than 14 people live in the same floor. One of my friends had a bad experience where I guy harassed her in the shower. Of course, we cannot blame the hostel for this incident, but when we afterwards complained, the receptionist didn't take it seriously - he couldn't care less! I would never recommend it:First, my friends had there room in a girl-only area which is suppose to be quite nice and ''safe'' but one night 2 guys were able to enter their room through the window when they were sleeping !!! Also, my friend experienced a very disturbing thing while showering (still in girl-only area) a guy came to her, watched her, and stole her clothes and towel. I cannot recommend anyone to stay at this hostel. My friend had to experience someone getting into the women's area. Eventually he ended up watching her showering and jacking off while doing it!!! The thing that we find so problematic here is that we still have no idea how he was even able to get into the area without having a hostel card!!!
