Very nice location at Elbe riwer.Good breakfast. Staff is very kindly.Less than 10 minutes with S-bahn to Hamburg Centralstation. One thing that is disturbing are the groups of schoolchildren who are very noicy late in the evening.The teachers should take more responcibility to get them more quite after 22.00 at night.Nice to see them daytime though. The location is great!! The hostel has also a family environment. The breaksfast is included and it was really good. The bad thing is that we asked for a room for three and we got separated.... also it was in a room for only women and we ended up in a mixed room.... but as an overall I recommend it!! Very nice hostel: friendly staff, clean, good breakfast, lockers in the room, etc. We stayed in a 8 person dorm and people were very nice and didn't complain if you came home late (and drunk). The only bad thing was, that you couldn't open the windows more than a few centimeters, which meant that the room got really warm in the night. But still, I can absolutely recommend this hostel. Excellent location. Very easy to find. Near the harbor where everything takes place - if you're there in the summertime, visit StrandPauli (a bar near the water that makes you feel like you're on a coconut island). Also good breakfast at the hostel! Mette, from Denmark ~ 4th Aug 2011
