Kangaroo Hotel en Nagano, Costa Rica

We had a private room land it was perfect!The hostel itself was very nice and clean.The pool was an added bonus.It is not far at all from the beach but a good bike ride into town.However, they supply the bikes for free, so yet another plus!The staff could have been a bit more helpful, but other than that, I would definitely recommend this hostel.it was a bit rainy our first night there, and there is a wondeful restaurant right across the street, so we didn't have to go far for good food and a g

Hi Thank yu for the great review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed yourselves in Jaco and in the hotel. However, I feel I have to explain our lack of helpfullness during your stay as taking good care of our guests is what we consider to be the most important aspect of our job. Unfortunately, I can understand your comment as during your stay I was a bit under the weather. I was 4 months pregnant and just a week before I had had an operation to have my appendix removed. As you will have seen my husband and I share the running of the hotel but as I was practically inmobile he found himself a little rushed of his feet during this time. I'm sorry if in any way you were unhappy with the service and hope you can understand the explaination. Next time you're in Jaco we hope you'll pay us a visit! Kind regards, Claire and Jesus
