You get what you paid for. The owners are nice. They offerred a ride to drop off me at the port. It was very nice of them. The bus stop is right in frontof the hostel. Han, from China ~ 22nd Aug 2011

Positive: Free round trip transportation to and port to hostel (20min shuttle ride) Next door to supermarket, internet cafe, bike rental, 24hr bakery, and restaurants. (5 min walk to beach). Our room had a kitchen, fridge, and stove. (Not sure if all rooms have). Negative: Need to pay for internet and Wifi. (Wifi didn't even work. All they said was that it was down and they don't know why). 30min scooter ride to Fira and45min scooter ride to Oiha. (We personally enjoyed the ride). Curtis, from USA ~ 18th Jul 2011

If you need a budget hostel in Santorini this is great. You may be put off by the location, but we actually preferred being away from Fira and close to Red Beach (least touristy) and Perissa beach. Don't use the public bus. Just rent an ATV. It's the best way to see the island. Anyway, although we liked the hostel, there were cockroaches in our room. However, that was just our experience.
