Very friendly, and will go out of their way to drive you into town and to assist you with valuable information. The bikes are free to ride which is very convenient and a fantastic way to tour Matsumoto. However, the bikes are not maintained well and are unsafe. Its family type set up in a chilled out place near the river. The owner was super helpful, with lifts to the station early morning. Free bikes are usefull. Good place to kick back. Daniel, from Australia ~ 25th Aug 2009

Although its a bit far from the station, the view at this location is very pretty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get to all the famous sightseeing spots thanks to the staffs help. All facilities are available in this hostel including washing machine and internet. It was very clean. This was more of a homestay than the usual hostel dorms I've been to. It was a good experience. Thanks. Odia, from USA ~ 22nd Jul 2009
