King Tut is the just right. It is clean, very Egyptian and excellently located. Everything you need (travel advise, arrangements) is given to you right in the hostel.
Many thanks to Atef and his team for making us feel totally at home. I must say Egyptians (King Tut staff included) are among the nicest people ever!

Staff were friendly but were continuously asking questions about our pre-planned itinerary. Also we had to pay cash up front for the 7 night stay. No credit card facilities.

King Tut was great! They set us up with a great guide and really picked us up and took us to the train and bus statition multiple times. If you're going to Cairo STAY HERE!!

I had the best time at the King Tut Hostel. The staff did every thing possible to make my stay in Egypt wonderful. I had absolutely nothing booked before I got to the hostel, and Atef (the owner) sat down with me and planned out my entire trip. They gave me numerous rides to the airport and they were always on time. The guides were very knowledgable and spoke great English. If you are going to Cairo and you are not staying at the King Tut, I would reccomend canceling your plans and staying

The staff at King Tut were amazingly helpful and friendly. We were tremendously pleased with our Cairo guide (Waseem Omar). For the most part our trip was well-planned and went smoothly, and we were happy with all our guides and drivers. The service at the hotel in Aswan was exceptional.
