This was a nice small hostel.Very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.The only thing I didn't like was the price for wifi.$10 for 500Mb was the worst I have seen in New Zealand. Jennifer, from USA ~ 26th Mar 2012

There are two kitchens, there is complete equipment in the downstairs kitchen and the upstairs has basic equipment (no toaster and some things like a beater). Overall the basics are good but there is nothing fancy at this place. Peter, from Australia ~ 13th Jan 2012

The pickup from the airport is really useful and easy. What a friendly place to stay.If you don't get chatting to others its you're own fault as the staff are or have been travellers themselves.The atmosphere is very relaxed and the knowledgable staff are really helpful. Fairly average hostel, good on value and fine for a couple of nights stay, nothing scary or too bad about this one. Would stay again but it is pretty standard
Thanks for your comment Michael. If you have a minute, maybe send us an email and let us know what more or better we can do... I always thought that we might be a bit above standard considering that we offer free pick ups and drop offs everywhere, drive ppl to the super market, offer free breakfast with fresh bread as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate around the clock... obviously that is still not enough. It would be nice to get some input from you to find out what else we can offer to make your stay better.

The bed sheets in our room had not been changed from the previous guests. It was so noisy because of the bare floor boards.
Hello Rachel, I m very sorry to hear that and can only say that this must have been a mistake. We do service our rooms daily and can only think that your room must have been missed. Why didn't you come down and tell the manager, we would have changed the sheets straight away. My apologies for the inconvenience.
