Kyoya Ryokan en Nagoya, Japan

Great Ryokan with relaxing Onsen. :-) We were fully satisfied

This time thank you for staying at Kyoya Ryokan. I have you like it and feel really glad. This Ryokan takes about around 20 minutes when I walk from Nagoya Station. The hotel is very nice, clean and tidy, relax.

The Ryokan is right in the middle of Nagoya, but retains all the features of a Ryokan youd want. It features a nice outdoor garden and a amazing Onsen. Bu the biggest plus about Kyoya is the staff, Hiro, who I assume is the owner, not only waited an hour and a half after closing time to allow me to check in, but also forwarded mail for me from Nagoya to Kyoto when it arrived late. They speak great English and are some of the nicest, most honest people you'll meet. I'd stay no where else, ever.

I do recommend this place, could not expect more for this price. Japanese style, nice garden, very nice bath, helpful staff. They seem not to be very busy - we had double room instead dorm we`ve reserved. It is really good place to relax　：）

I reserved a dorm, but was the only one that evening, so I had a private. A private Apple PC with internet, a private TV, even a private relaxation chair. And best of all, I had to cross just 2 meters from my room through the Japanese garden to reach the public bath! It was my first experience with such a bath. I liked it very much, compliments about the price compared to the quality! Also Nagoya was a nice and attracting city, what i didn't expacted...

Great place to stay! If I`ll ever go back to Nagoya I will stay in that place for sure! No problems to get there.

Best place I have ever stayed! Its a unique experience as I have ever stayed! Its a unique experience as the hostel stayed! Its a unique experience as the hostel mixes traditional and modern facilities that allow you to enjoy tatami floors, public baths, yukatas, slippers, gardens, etc. while still having AC, occidental style bathrooms, etc. if you prefer to use them. I would recommend this place to anyone considering visiting Nagoya, you wont regret it!

Very nice place. More than you'd expect for the money. Would definitely go back if I made a return trip to Nagoya.
