Comparing to the different hostels I've experienced in my life this was really poor and to much expensive for the service. VALENTINA, from Italy ~ 30th May 2012

The hostels is extremely well located in the center of Venice. Instructions to get here are very easy to follow and upon arrival the staff is very helpful with any questions you may have. They provide free breakfast, which is really appreciated it in such expensive city It has a very nice kitchen, which is great to save some money and cook at home. The patio area is gorgeous and is a great place to spend the afternoon with some new friends and a few beers. The only two things I have to say, as f Samuel, from USA ~ 21st May 2012

It looked cramped as we passed through the narrow streets of Venice to reach this hostel, but once we were inside, it was spacious and cozy. The staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere in the street around the hostel was fantastic. Close to Rialto bridge and market, the location is fabulous. Only I could not understand, why the rooms could not have a curtain? A simple thing like this will add much value to the room. A pleasant stay, with friendly Italian hospitality. Great location. We felt that the hostel was a bit dirty. Stains on the carpets, etc.The bedding had stains. Leopoldine, from Austria ~ 25th Apr 2012

Should have informed us of the bathroom just outside the corridor of the mixed dorm room on the terrace not having hot water. My mother was caught off guard in the morning when she wanted to have a morning shower and had to come out and seek assistance, only to be told that this particular bathroom didn't offer hot shower facilities. This place was great. Everything was very clean and it's like 20 seconds from the grand canal. The staff was also very nice. It is not a party hostel. I would definitely stay there again.

If you want to be just in walking distance to the Rialto Bridge this is the spot you want to be. Nice restaurants just below your windows. When you like the central location you will also have to live with noises late in the evening, but then you should really be walking around somewhere else than being in bed. Extremely cold male staff on check-in day has absolutely no idea initially about my bookings though it was in the small physical notepad used to record bookings & kept insisting that check-in is at 3PM as they need to clean the rooms when it was not stated on the website. Room 5 which is 2 floors about the reception area is manifested with bedbugs despite regimental style in housekeeping. No aircon. No wireless. Boon Leong, from Singapore ~ 26th Sep 2011
