Recommended. Not on the beach, but not far from it either. Karon beach is pretty laid back, but it's a solid resort town, too. Accomodations were great: clean room, in-room safe, TV with fifty channels, and an Australian ex-pat manager who knows the town (and knows English!)

The rooms are exceptionally clean and the location is good. just 3min walk to the beach at karon circle. The place felt safe, though it would be better if the room could be lock "dead" from inside. Now, it could still be opened from outside if you have a key. Overall, it is still great.

Well located, 2 minutes from the beautiful Karon Beach. Super clean. If there is any problem with the room, don't hesitate to tell the owners, they will fix it right away. Very safe.
The only less positive point is about the airport pick up; the driver acts like he has a racing car.
Because it's in a kind of touristic resort, try to avoid the big restaurants (expensive and low quality) and try the smaller traditional thai restaurants.

The room was impeccably clean and big. I only stayed one night but really liked the atmosphere of this hostel. It is a one minute walk to Karon Beach, but quite aways from Patong Beach. If you're looking for a younger and lively crowd, I'd suggest you stay in Patong instead.

Very nice room. Our room was much larger than we expected. Reasonable price for what you get. The bathroom drainage is not the best but it's still clean.
I liked the bedspreads and other small touches of the room. Great location - plenty of restaurants and convenient stores, ATMs and money exchange in walking distance. Beach is very close.
Karon seems more a destination for families and older people, but it's still a good atmosphere.
