Little Hanoi Hostel Le Thai To en Lisbon, Vietnam

Stayed in Little Hanoi during my overnight in Hanoi this month. The place was ok. The location is perfect if you want a good launching off point for the lake or old town, buuuuuut I was looking more for an authentic Vietnamese experience, and this place is located in tourist-central. There are more white people than Asian people when you walk out your door. The owners were a bit pushy with their tours, and they charged me a finders fee of $7 for a $33 train ticket, which was annoying. I'm 2 met

Hi Simon, Thank you for your staying. We note down from beginging our palace is for backage, for foreigner. Hoping you can find some good point of that and consider it be your home when you stay in the Hostel. The train ticket we told you so clear already, the fee is for service charge when you or we can not by ourself, we have to pay for the people at the train station. If we knew you were not happy after using that services, we would not have bought that for you. We thought you were so happy about that, so we did.

The Hostel is centrally located near Hoan Kiem Lake. All staff are excellent, Coffee was always on offer when I came back from Exploring, Breakfast is good and the room standard is a high quality, I would stay again and will reccomend this Hostel to my friends. Terence, from England ~ 4th Mar 2012

The staff and the service at this place is amazing! Better than any hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff made me feel at home and offered us great directions to the places that we wanted to go. The main owner is a very honest man that really looks out for you when you are trying to buy train tickets, book tours, and finding your way around the city. To start with...Maybe the 100% rating seems overrated but it totally isn't. From the e-mail contact at home to the end of our stay everything was perfect. We booked for 2 nights and than there's an airport pickup included (what saves you $15). The hotel is clean, cosy, and most of all super friendly.
