The room we stayed in was a budget twin room with no breakfast provided but I would have expected to have a kettle to make tea and coffee but this was not provided. The room was cramped and really only suitable for one person. One of the power plugs was falling out of the wall - very dangerous especially since it was above the pillow of one of the beds.I would only recommend this to a friend if they were staying in a different room. we stayed at their private four bed room. It is a seperate flat from the hotel in the next street. Great location, helpful staff. Only weird thing is that they were offering internet at the lobby only from 3-6pm for one euro. Hulya, from Turkey ~ 20th Sep 2011

We arrived at 12am and were greeted by Alberto, who was extremely friendly and showed us to our room (its not a part of the hotel but rather in a separate annex).Very simple but exactly what we were looking for. Clean and super location for a great price. After check out we left our luggage at the locanda and received a call from the hotel owner (who we'd not met as we were always busy) asking if we needed anything and letting us know he was available. I'd definitely recommend this place. Sabrina, from Switzerland ~ 19th Sep 2011

Locanda was very clean, which was a nice break from everywhere else I've stayed. The Internet was fast but only worked outside the rooms. It was one euro for three hours. Overall I enjoyed my stay, it was worth the extra money. Alexandra, from USA ~ 2nd Sep 2011

The hostel is located between the Realto Bridge ( 10 min away) and the San Marco Square (10 min). Some practical info: to get there you have to take the ferry. The closest stop to the ho(s)tel is F. te Nove or Ospedale. We liked our stay in the hostel. The location was perfect and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast in the room was included. I'll highly recommend this ho(s)tel! Veerle, from Belgium ~ 14th Aug 2011

As a traveling student, stayed in a room for 4 people. It was very clean and had its own bathroom.Awesome location, abouta ten minute walk to El Rialto or to Piazza di San Marco.Only complaint was that the air conditioner didn't work.Highly recommended for the price!

We stayed in a basic en-suite. Great value for price! Everything was clean, the staff was very polite, we could come and go whenever we wanted. I really suggest it if you search for a reasonable price in Venice, but want it clean and without sharing room with strangers. Konstantins, from Latvia ~ 30th Jun 2011

My first time in Venice and this b&b provided a good base to access San Marco etc.Breakfast good but it should have been included in the price.Small room but I was aware of that before I booked.Fine for one person but probably unsuitable for two if staying any more than a night or two.The young woman at reception was very helpful, including offering advice on places to eat and how to get to San Marco on the first day I arrived.
