This place was a good value, but weird. Took forever to find because nobody knew where it was and no one answered the phone. Then I got there and couldn't get in because there were no staff members there. The location is not great, but the staff will give you rides in their golf cart, which kindof makes up for the inconvenient location. The dorm was clean and the air-con was nice, but the place seemed really empty and wasn't really a place you would want to hang out. Nina, from USA ~ 23rd Apr 2012

This place was perfect for me. It's a little bit out of the way, but they'll take you to the station for free, and you can get back on a motorcyle taxi for 15B. It's very clean, and very comfortable. When I return to Bangkok at the end of my trip, I'll be booking in here again. Madee Hostel is one of the best hostel i have ever had in Thailand so far. The toilet and the room were big and clean. They also provided free shampoo and shower gel. It is reasonably far from the Onnut BTS station, they provide free golf cart transfer from the hostel and the BTS station in the morning and night (just contact the staffs), besides just take a motorbike is only 15 bahts, set price , no need to bargain . New, clean, odourless, noiseless, convinient for a rest, not for fiesta. Hope they can keep up as it is. They have a pick-up service to On Nut BTS 9-12 and 21-24, what it good if you have more then one handbag, - use a public phone in a Tesco shop to call for it if you don't have the local SIM card. One coin of one Bat will do. Otherwise take a motorbike, its 15 Bat. The meter taxi to the airport was 190+20 Bat, by no-tall road. Ask the staff to call it. JULIA, from Russia ~ 19th Jul 2011
