un ambiante de fiesta y convivial. Le recomendo a persona que viaje sola. El bario es precioso pero para subir con las maletas hace falta tener una buena condicion fisica! très bonne expérience!! A refaire!!!! Soheila, from France ~ 25th Aug 2009

What a beautifully quirky place. Great staff, good directions, awesome chill out areas. And a nice walk up the hill though the beautiful streets of Granada. Louise, from Australia ~ 19th Sep 2009

Laid back vibe and places to chill during the >40c heat. Inexpensive drinks/food on-site. Difficult to get to (on top of a hill and no bus service due to construction). Hostel staff/site was great, but location was not ideal. Jason, from USA ~ 10th Jul 2009

This was my favorite hostel during my Spain vacation. Amazing staff, hammocks, daily BBQ´s, great location (hard to find though). I couldn´t recommend it more. deepak, from USA ~ 25th Jun 2009

Makuto had a very chill vibe and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was wonderful- especially Adrian from Paris. The only issue was that the rooms had no AC or fans and were unbearably hot. Do not stay here if the temperature in Granada is hot or you will not able to sleep past sunrise. other than that I loved the personality and location of the place. rhett, from USA ~ 15th Jun 2009

The good things: the staff (enjoy to party, helpful), the commons areas (3 hammocks, plenty of seats to read and chill), the lockers (they must have enough for every guest). The bad things: it's in the barrio Albaizín (a little bit uphill, it's quite a walk; really shady at night, don't come back drunk!), the odor (it's smelly all the time and really not clean). I'm really not sure I would stay there again, especially when there's so many other possibilities. Marie-Claude, from Canada ~ 14th Jun 2009

This place certainly has a lot of character. It is a bit of a hike to get there and you can get lost, so try to bring a map if you can. But overall the people were great and I definitely enjoyed my stay! Paula, from USA ~ 9th Jun 2009

The french guy at the reception is alright but does the strict minimum. Once he whows you everything the fiorst time that's it. Not very helpful in his attitude. I was in another hostel 2 days before and people put me more at ease. Mariame, from France ~ 29th May 2009
