Probably the best hostel I have been to. The location is great and the people are a lot of fun (especially Daniel who is beyond awesome!) yet it is quite and comfortable when you need it to be. Philip, from Denmark ~ 1st Feb 2012

I chose this hostel due to the description making clear that it was a quiet peaceful hostel that respects the needs to quiet at night, as I was getting in from a day of travelling and needed a good sleep. But the 9 bed dorm has old creaky metal framed bunks that are impossible to get up onto without shaking like mad, I had three snorers in my dorm (not the hostels fault) and there was a party in the lobby (outside the dorm I was in) until approx 1am that was very noisy. But the staff were good. Benjamin, from England ~ 6th Jan 2012

Mambo Tango was without a doubt the best hostel I stayed at during my travels through Europe. The staff definitely made the experience one of a kind, especially Gustavo during the day, and Daniel at night. They gave great advice about things to do, and most importantly places to eat. The atmosphere was amazing and unique to this hostel. Loved the hostel, and loved the people. I will definitely be going back. Toni, from Australia ~ 21st Dec 2011

Love it! The best hostel in all of my travels. Super helpful friendly staff, who know the city and all the best places to explore. Free WiFi, good location to transport & harbour. Fabulous atmosphere without being to noisy at night. Very clean :o) Margaret, from Australia ~ 4th Dec 2011

one of the best hostels I've ever been in-clean, super friendly, great location, and just a superb character about it! Elizabeth, from Australia ~ 19th Sep 2011

I LOVE MAMBO TANGO! Very nice, helpful staffs.(When I asked about overnight train, they kindly booked tickets for us!) Nearby metro. Great location for travellers. Lockers large enough for a suitcase. Pretty&clean bedroom(If it wasn't MIX room, it'd be nicer though.) Breakfast from $2-ish(Though I recommend DINO PAN, a cafe in front of metro st. and serves tasty baguette sandwiches!) Besides, I loved the underground floor room with TV and PCs! -clean, stylish and very cogy:) Kayoko, from Japan ~ 20th Sep 2011

I've stayed in many hostels, but this one is quite different from the rest. It feels homey, and the people here are fantastic! The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. I came for just four days, but I ended up extending to seven days. Stay here, both for fun and/or relaxation!! Kristin, from USA ~ 29th May 2011
