I booked online and paid 10% deposit and then got an email from the owner in the morning to say that we could not stay there anymore. Eventually he said he had rooms for us. When the group arrived one third were taken to Chunking Mansions which has a very bad reputation. I cannot believe we were still asked to pay the whole amount. The rooms were not very clean and we were only given 4 rooms when I had booked 9. The booking system and the website are obviously not linked properly.

We have told you that please do not come, due to there is a big fair holding in Hong Kong during the time, and and there is no rooms for you. But you insist tell us that if we do not provide the rooms for you, you will lost your job. So we have to help you. You have booked 1 room for 4 people and 1 room for 3 people, and the rest are double rooms. As most of your group are students, we give you 2 triple rooms, 1 big room for 6 people, 1 big room for 4 rooms, and 1 big room for 5 people, so totally is 5 big rooms instead of your saying that only for 4 rooms. We give you 2 rooms in ChungKing Mansion, which are newly renovated, the rooms are very good. And the rest of rooms are clean too. We have seen from their face that they are very happy and excited.
