The workers were very friendly, making sure we were okay and after getting over nervousness of being to white girls they showed us the hostel and told us to let them know if anything else is needed.

tv and aircon worked good, large mirror in my room a plus, comfort room in hallway had 3 showers 1 toilet was clean, no sign on the door just go to apartment 402 there is a doorbell. bed was a little short for me im 6'1 feet were hanging off a little. overall good place to stay for the price 700 pesos for private room for up to two people if you dont mind staying on the same bed, kind of small bed so keep that in mind. location was best for me 2 buses walking distance can take you anywhere almo

We booked a twin room, but when we arrived, we were offered a double. After a conversation we did get a bunk bed. We were two guys travelling together, and definetely didn't want to sleep in a double. That's why we booked a twin in the first place. The staff was very nice and helpful and finally our stay turned out very nice.

Although the location was good in manila bay the palce was below standard on a number of things , The air-conditioning was not working and we found the place very uncomfortable. Good job we were only there for 12 hours. Rooms were small

When i first came, it was no sign/mark outside that said this is "manila bay hostel", that was frustrated for me and the cab.driver! and when i finaly came inside, there was no doors that said this was the reception...how can people now where to check in, when there in no sign's?? so i had to go downstairs again and ask the guards if this realy was the hostel..and then they had to follow me up again and show me the door to the reception. very odd/frustrating.

For a very low price, this is very reasonable for me. What is important is its proximity to the US embassy and some major tourism sites...

Two of the staff were great. However there was one who was drunk on one occassion, asking for money at the entrance on the lower floor of the hostel the hostel was in.A couple of days latter, he repeatedly, asked about "chicks" and procuring chicks at the front desk inside the hostel. He has silver chain around his neck. Avoid him like the plague. The other two hotel workers were fine young fellows.
