Mayan Hostel Cancun en Cancun, Mexico

i liked the place, people are nice, about 15 minutes driving from where everything is. very close to the bus station as well. there is a plaza right next to it where people gather and sell their goods at night. leonardo, from Venezuela ~ 14th May 2009

Stayed in march 09. Very positive experience with laid-back staff, including a lovely older woman who will cook you whatever you like fro breakfast. Rooftop patio is a great place to annihilate you liver before hitting the cancun nightlife. Location is terrific - one block from the ADO station for express buses to the airport and south, and one block from the local beach-bound buses. $9 dorms - what's not to like? hotel proche de la bus station et du centre de cancun, dans un endroit calme et agreable. marchés à 5 min. staff tres sympa. le prix de la chambre comprend le pti dej et le repas du soir. endroit tres convivial où l'on se sent bien. sophie, from France ~ 12th Apr 2009

I stayed in a 10 bed room with the ac but it was all the way in the back and we didn´t get a key, we always had to go to the reception and ask them to buzz us in. Up on the rooftop terrence the hostel is like a treehouse but not all of the hotel, if your planning to go just because of that (the lonley planet says so .. )but it was relatively cheap and I could go there again.
