My stay at Mbizi Lodge was realy great!:). I felt at home and like I was staying at a frinds place. It is realy nice that it isn´t to big place, u hade the swimmingpool, pooltable, nice backyard, internet, tv-room etc. It is close to the airport, atm, resturant, supermarket. But I have to say that best of all was that U(Patrick) helpt us(my friend Emanuel) in many ways, especialy with the planing of our trip to Kruger N.P and Cape Town,:). I´m realy happy for that,:)). I will absolutly recomen

Very isolated and costly to get to sights...but very safe. If you need a place to hang out for a day in between flights then this is a great option.

The owner, Patrick was incredibly helpful and friendly, as he can pick you up and drop you off at the airport, which is only abou 20 minutes away. The house is beautifully kept, it is both clean and bright. The backyard is lovely, well-kept gardens, a pool, and gazebo with pool table and drinks. I would definitely recommend this hostel if you were staying in J'burg!

This is a perfect place to crash if you are in transit from Jo'burg to your next destination. It's cheap, clean, safe and close to the airport which is all you need. Patrick is great- he'll shuttle you to wherever you have to be without any hassle and has gone to a lot of trouble to make the place backpacker friendly.
