In the heart of Darwin, maybe a bit noisy, but ok. The single room is large, so ok, and the kitchen very big, you can eat perfectly your lunch next to the kitchen...

Upon arriving at this hostel, we were told that there weren't any plates or cutlery available to rent and are only option was to go buy some. The kitchen was a mess even after they cleaned it. They had to turn off the water for four hours one day. They chose to do this from 7am-12pm. Of course, this meant that there were no morning showers and that none of the toilets would flush so you can imagine the smell by the time the water came back on again. It is a really nice big place, where you will not have trouble meeting new people! I liked the bathroom facilities, they were pretty clean and always available. I would definately book in there again if I come back to Darwin.

The property is in the heart of the little india backpacker area. It is very clean and new. It is 5 mins from MRT (subway) which connects all of Singapore.

Flights to Darwin arrive at stupid times and Hostels have to accomodate this. Instead when I arrived at the Hostel at the time and date I specified (5am) I was told I could not check-in till midday! Thats 7hrs! There were beds available as they said I could pay an additional $20 to check in now. Stupid rule and these arent the only stupid rules they have either. Other than that not a bad place if you arrive after 12pm
