stuff was unfriendly and tried to convince us to paymore for a room who has the bathroom inside.we insisted to see before the room we originally reserved, but they took us directly to the other room and in the end led us stay there without aditional payment.the room was really dirty, the windows very very small and in front of the room was the kitchen, so it was very noisy too. the bathroom was very dirty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for weeks. katharina, from Austria ~ 11th Jan 2012

Perfect location about 100m from Damascus gate. Staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem for us. Gave good advice and looked after us well. Had to leave a day early due to no bus service on sat and they said we can go back for a free night in the future. Very generous, good breakfast and amazing value for money. Thank you. I stayed at the New Palm hostel/hotel for 1 week and was very happy with the accommodation.All the staff are very friendly and helpful in advising me when I would ask a question.I stayed in the hotel side for a few shekels more per night, and the room was very nice and clean, with a private bath and a/c.
