I stayed in a 10 bed dorm and it was immaculate, as was the shower and toilet area. The food in the restaurant was great and I met lots of people at the hostel bar. Would definitely go there again!

I think the rooms are too expensive compared to what you are getting. However, I'll still go to New Road again.

Amazingly good for the price. 20 minutes from Thaksin Bridge (not 10 minutes as in their blurb). I suggested that they could include an Asian breakfast on the Breakfast Menu. Shall certainly go there again.

some members of staff were quite unhelpful, seemed like because staying in backpacker lodge werent as important as guests in hotel, despite the fact that i spent on average of 1000 baht a day using internet service and paying for food and drink

Although the guesthouse is tucked away - it offers a relief from the hustle and bustle of Bangkoks busy streets. Although it isn't central to the attractions, the express boat taking you to the attractions and the monorail taking you to the malls are not far away!!

It's an Dansk Hotel and Hostel with cheap bar, restaurant and pool table. There are not really any points of interest around but you can get everywhere really easy by going with a tuktuk. It's nice for low-budget Backpackers like I am!
