This is the best hostel i've stayed in for a long time, it has real character. If you appreciate meeting people from around the world instead of people from down your street (which is surely the reason we travel isn't it?), then look no further. Thanks for a great time, Chris.

I had a rental so having the free parking was why i picked this spot. It was cheap, but there weren't any 4 person dorms as mentioned here. The place was clean. The bathrooms were clean but i didn't like that it was obvious that the men were using the womens toilets too. There was a group of individuals who appeared to work there who would take over the kitchen ( we just went out for food) and they would cook and leave things very smelly.
Also these same guys just hung out and stared down eve

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The worst thing about it was the complete filth in the kitchen- disgusting! Hardly anything was working anyway, and the bits of the one cooker that were working were not fit to cook food on. I wouldn't feed a dog from that cooker! The showers were shocking, and the staff were creepy and invasive of privacy. We didn't feel safe at all. Completely awefull! My advice is- STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!!

I was a little disappointed with the place but it is ok for what you are paying! Could do with a little revamp and would make a nice place. Shame that they don't warn about the fact that you have to pay to use the washing machine, internet and hot water for the shower, it isn't much but still would be nice to know beforehand! Around 30mns walk from the city if not a bit more, quite interesting area...!!

It is a nice hostel to stay for a few days. I had a nice time and met some nice people. I would go back if I go back to Auckland.
