This place in HCMC was really cheap, but don't expect much for it.Sure, they throw in "breakfast", (which is just bread and a scrambled egg), but the place isn't that great if you are looking for helpful or enthusiastic staff.The woman who seemed to own the hostel was not overtly rude, she just didn't seem interested in much other than making money from guests. Again, keeping in mind the very low cost, there is not much room to complain. Still, 1 toilet in a dorm room of 9 people is rough. Zac, from USA ~ 4th Apr 2012

The facility is very good: the dorm is very clean, they clean room and change bed sheets everyday, good hot water,even have TV and fridger in the dorm. Unfortunately their business concept is "hotel", not hostel, so they are not friendly or active to provide help. When you exchange USD to VND, the rate is 1:20000 however when you check out and pay in VND, the rate becomes 1:21000. Great location! In the centre of district one!! Dorm rooms are nice and clean with air conditioning, tv, hotwater, small 'living area' and clean sheets and towels. Rooms get cleaned daily and it includes free breakfast and wifi. Really good value for money and great staff! Definitly recommend it for backpackers who are looking for a cheap and nice place! WARNING!Be wary of the miserable owner who tries to ripe everyone off with a ridiculous exchange rate upon checkout, and then yells at you if you question it.I would say take your business elsewhere - nothing about this hostel is worth the terrible management. Nancy, from Canada ~ 6th Aug 2011
