I loved staying here! My suitcase broke so they drove me, for free, all the way to a shopping mall to buy a new one! It's placed no more than 5 min away from the world heritage temple area. Definitely worth every penny! Camille, from Denmark ~ 16th Feb 2012

This place is close to the major attractions of Nikko and you get views of the river and forest from the hostel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The owner drove all the guests to the onsen on the night I stayed there. Definitively the best place to stay in Nikko for me. Diamantino, from France ~ 17th Oct 2011

This was one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. It is close to Nikkos main attractions (you can't really get much closer) and the staff is very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and everything is very clean. Breakfast is not included, but you can use a well equipped kitchen (only didn't see any toaster, so no morning toast). I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is a 2 minute walk to Shinkyo bridge (only a few minutes from the Shrines) and Shinkyo bus stop. The staff was very kind and courteous and nice to talk to in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. The room was comfortable and the wireless connection was strong. This place was wonderful. It is run by a lovely couple who were so helpful and friendly. They offered me free dinner, and were generally nice to talk to. The dorm room size was good, and the decoration had real character - no blank walls! They let me keep my bags there before checking in and after checking out with no problems. Location is excellent, just 2 minutes from the direct bus to the station, or to Kegan waterfall, as well as only 2 minutes walk from the famous shrines and temples area.
