Location great, near Oscar Freire. Rooms too small for the amount of beds they have, no room to even open the luggage. Girls at the front desk not helpful at all, when we asked for directions, all the directions they said were wrong and never even tried to check the info online, they were too lazy to provide helpful information. By far one of the cleaner hostels I stayed in while vacationing in Brasil. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was good and every night there were people in the common lounge chatting and having a good time. Great place to stay. Jessica, from USA ~ 23rd Oct 2011

The internet problem is ongoing and extremely frustrating. Most staff are pretty friendly, however some can come across as not very interested in meeting your needs. Sometimes there needs to be some control on groups being loud and disrespectful to other travelers, especially late at night. The place its really good, i will recommend it for sure, its really clean really nice place, the only details maybe will be that the room was kind of dark, but was ok and that they didn't respect the deposit money payed on the page and they keep it because the people who was in charge of giving back the money was about to return but we didn't have enough time to wait.
