O-yado Sato en Kyoto, Japan

The room was really too small (when we open the tatami there was no space for the laggage). every day they cleaned only the bathroom. What's more we were near the street and there was too much noise in the morning. Antonio, from Italy ~ 26th Oct 2009

A really lovely place to stay, to experience traditional Japanese accommodation. Comfortable and affordable. It depends on which room you have as to whether it will be quiet.. but most guests are considerate. The location is down a narrow lane, so no traffic noise. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hiring bikes is a must.. so much fun! I wish we could have stayed longer! Lisa, from New Zealand ~ 29th Jun 2009
