It was a delight staying here. It was downpouring and it took me a long time to get there. When I arrived the reception asked to go to another place, this turned out to be a very lovely and comfortable apartment even though I booked a single room. The reception did not speak English and there is no WIFI in apartment, but the price is extremely good. I guess I was very lucky, this is the once of the best places I stayed in 3 weeks of Spain Stella, from New Zealand ~ 4th Nov 2009

I really liked! Very well located. Close to La Mesquita (2 minutes walk). Nice staff. Rooms were clean, small but comfortable. Share restroom but it was clean as well. People in Cordoba are really nice and gentle. Close to good restaurants. Andrea, from USA ~ 14th Jul 2009

It is one of the nicest hostels i have ever been. The room is realy sweet and clean. You have internet in the room (Wifi) and the hostel is less than 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. There is no kitchen in the hostal but near are many restarants, where you can get each food you like. And the staff is realy nice and helps you if you have some problems or questions? The hostel is beautifully situated in the heard of the old city of Cordoba, very close to the cathedral. It is very clean and nice. The shortcomming is the lack of a kitchen. The staff is helpfull, but there are some problems with communicating in English. Kazimierz, from Poland ~ 26th Apr 2009

The concierge did not speak English which was a barrier, and no one answered the door when we first got there so we had to walk around with our suitcases and then come back later. When we finally got in, there was some confusion about our reservation. Also when we got to our room, the beds were not made. Other than that our room was nice and comfortable though. Pension Cibeles is ideally located to explore Cordoba, but for us the stay was not that enjoyable, which is disappointing considering how lovely Cordoba is as a town. The room we were given was a twin in which both the lock on the door and the heating did not work. We were given a blanket, but one blanket between two beds.....and in winter! The staff were also not friendly at all, seemingly annoyed at our minor handle of the Spanish language. David, from Australia ~ 23rd Feb 2009
