Pension Versalles en Alicante, Spain

Pro's: Close to the beach nice courtyard to chill in, private rooms at affordable prices, the owner is very friendly Con's: No Air conditioning, no internet, sandy floors in bedroom, smelly washroom, no breakfast, the shower does not have a shower curtain...so the water sprays every where. Had a great time at the Versalles. We went to the Hogueras festival in late June and loved it. The owner doesn't speak English though so communicating with him can be a bit tricky, although fun. He makes an honest attempt to communicate with everyone and as long as you have a basic understanding of Spanish, he's there to help. As for the rooms, it's rather basic. Very small towels & rooms are extremely hot in the summer months. But what this hostel lacks in ammenities is made up with character Nathan, from USA ~ 28th Jun 2009

Die Lage ist super - direkt im Barrio und in Strandnähe. Auf der niedlich angelegten Terasse trifft man andere Gäste oder hält ein Pläuschchen mit dem "Herbergsvater".
