I had a great stay at Pentlands! I stayed my frist two nights in Auckland and it was a great place to relax and start my travels from. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Erin, from Canada ~ 26th Jan 2012

Great hostel!This was my first stay in a hostel and I couldn't have picked a better place to do so.The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Auckland, as well as knowledgeable about getting local services and conveniences that a long-stay guest may need. 4 1/2 shared baths for all guests.10pm quiet curfew. Near grocery, cafes, restaurants, pubs, post & public transport. Wifi & desktops (fee), 1 guest phone, washer/dryer (NZD$4 each).One of the older guests & here on business/pleasure, so not on the same backpacker/1yr.work visa mindset as other guests.
