Arriving staff in bar below were v helpful &friendly however when i got upstairs I was shocked - interior of place,walls need a serious painting &place needs to be SERIOUSLY kitted out with new carpet through halls,receptions &rooms.Very smelly in Hallways!Really bad!Bathrooms -clean which was great.Cleaning staff were nice,pleasent.One of the girls on the phone rang during one of my sightseeing tours demanding me back to pay my rent even though they had my passport as security!If desparate stay bernie, from Ireland ~ 29th Jul 2009

this is the worst hostal i have ever stayed in, avoid it at all costs. beds where dirty and where full of bedbugs witch eat you to death, rooms where horrible ( aircon doesent work, holes in the walls and uncleaned my hole stay, the staff where unfriendly and treat you like imagrants!!! kitchen is locked at 10 even though the place has camras, really avoid this place Adam, from England ~ 19th Jun 2009

Worst hostel in oz. it smells of feet, everywhere, toilets are disgusting, staff unhelpful, kitchen poorly equipped - not enough hobs for a huge hostel! worst thing was that even though you leave deposit for cutlery, plates etc when we went to get some, they'd run out (even though hostel not full) and had no suggestion how we were to eat our dinner. there are far better hostels in Brisbane, do not stay here!
