Well take it whit a grant of salt, I was only there 1 nigth and it seems relaxed and nice, and If I stayed I'm sure the fun whout begin to. The location depence on what you are after, so go there and jugde for your self. I'm sure it's a good place and nice people, from what i see and feelt. Love and Light to you! Perfect place after the upper East coast!Laid back, chill, bit of a ghetto hood, but just blocks from the real beach, a long walk to the city center, but once you do it, you don't want to go back and the beach is really close and lovely.The walk from the bus station is a straight line and easy 15 minutes max.Really clean, really nice people.After a hectic time in Spanish hostels I give it a 10. Its a hostel with a lot of beds, so its a little bit chaotic (especially in bathrooms, sometimes there wasn't hot water) but i went there during the "feria of malaga", so this is understandable. The position isn't very good, and price isn't the best if you consider that and the rooms in general. But the common room is nice, staff is helpful (they speak english very well, not so much spanish) and all in all its a quite fair accomodation. Fabio, from Italy ~ 10th Oct 2011

Value for money isnt very good. The place is a good 20 min walk away from the city center, although the access to the beach is pretty easy. The residence itself was poorly equiped (2 small showers for the whole floor), it s quite messy and there was no space in the bedrooms to put your luggage. We were quite disappointed... This hostel is really nice!! It has big common space and big kitchen equipped with full of common food. Though a big supermarket is just one block from this hostel, I could enjoy much food this hostel had. Atmosphere was like party and fun in the night. And price was great !!
