Loved the location once we got there - it was about a 15 minute walk and a 15 minute waterbus ride from the reception desk to our room but it was worth it for the location once we got there. My only small complaint is no wifi in the rooms only in the reception area and it was too out of the way to go back. Candace, from Canada ~ 22nd May 2012

The only good thing to write about this hostel is the location as it is just across the canal opposite the Santa Lucia station. It is wifi-less but you can get it from the nearby eateries. Very unhappy with our stay. We arrived only to find out that that our room was not located on the grand canal as stated but in a seperate building which was a 10 min walk away (know where nere the canal). On one morning of our stay we left our near empty backpacks on the bed, while we went out. When we returned to the room we found that the beds had been made over the top of our packs! and for this service we had been charged extra fee! not to mention many other issues we where unhappy with. This hotel is far from checkin door, we must take a vaporetto to this hotel, just to remind all traveller, 1. Send some body to checkin if your bring a heavy bagage, no need to bring the bagage over the bridge when it to heavy, 2. It a must, asking for one staff to guide to the hotel, lost in venice we need 1 hour to find our hotel, venice is nice our journey including to murano island, food is good there a traditional market at rialto they sell food in best price Kon Lie, from Indonesia ~ 2nd Nov 2011

It would have been good to have a central area to meet with other hostel guests.We never saw any other people there except for the check-in person and the cleaning person.Reception was too far away for obtaining tour options, information...Internet access would have been nice.Laundry facilities would have been very nice. Hi we had a fantastic stay and would recommed to all to stay there, the lady who welcomed us was very nice and always smiled nothing was a bother to her. A clean, secure place near San Marco Square in Venice with our own bathroom and airconditioning and a refrigerator and a place to use our netbook. We thought we had died and gone to hostel heaven.Having a staff member guide us to the place our first night there was also a blessing. We have been recommending the place to our friends already.
