This is indeed one of the best hostels I stayed in while travelling through the former Soviet space and Eastern Europe. Great location, just in the city center. I stayed only one night at RETRO and I had the best services I could wish for! amazing staff, great location, very clean, free coffee all day, good free breakfast, and hot shower! The underground Bunker is a must see! No curfew, very secure, and comfy beds! Renata, from USA ~ 8th Mar 2012

The place is absolutely awesome. I came from US and I expected that I will not have the chance to find a nice place in Moldova and it will turn out boring. But I found this Hostel that to be a stylish venue with a slight accent on communist times with all the Stalin and Lenin stuff. I decided to stay one day extra. The hostel is very clean, the staff is nice and very useful in guiding. One day I ordered a national dish that these guys provide and it was great value for the money paid. I stayed one night at this Hostel and I enjoyed a lot being there. Great price for what's offered. free breakfast, free tea and coffee all day long. the location is very central and you have everything you need in close vicinity. the rooms, kitchen and bathroom are kept always clean. it is a new hostel and the staff does its best to make you feel at home.
