Very helpful and friendly staff. The bathrooms and rooms were just as clean as they should be. The only negative thing to say is that you could hear everything that moved in the hallway from the room. If you want to have a nice sleep at night, forget about ryokan. The 2nd level wood floor creates so much noise when ppl walk by, "Dong Dong Dong" how can you sleep well ! Others are still ok, with 3 free ipad surfing, athough the speed is a bit slow. The staff are quite nice and helpful. jinduo, from China ~ 12th Apr 2012

Very nice hostel (great design!!) in a good location, cozy beds, good wifi (including a couple of ipads which can be used for free!!), nice staff. The only thing which was bad was the wooden hallway... you hear EVERY step of everybody walking up and down. We stayed in a private ensuite and it's a hostel but they give you shampoo and shower gel and clean towels and make your bed so that's pretty nice. Only thing is that I prefer if the mattress was a queen size mattress instead of two single mattresses placed side by side for the private ensuite room, but still, the stay was comfortable.
