Saigon Balo Hostel en Bahariya Oasis, Vietnam

It was ok, had a bed, tv, fridge, aircon, you get what you pay for I guess! Bit noisy though, especially at night as most of the windows are internal over the stairwell. Good location though right on the main road and not off one of the dodgy backstreets. Roxanne, from England ~ 2nd Dec 2011

Don't be confused if you turn up to this address and find the Saigon Backpackers in its place...they seem to be the same hostel, as with everything in Vietnam 'same, same but different'. They had our booking and knew about the deposit paid so it was no issue. We stayed an extra night and it was easy to organise. The staff on reception in the afternoon speak much better english than the guy in the morning but everyone is friendly. The Hanh Cafe bus drop off point is practically right outside w David, from England ~ 4th Nov 2011
