UN POCO RUIDOSO, PERO EN GENERAL CÓMODO, JUSTO LO QUE NECESITABA ESTEFANIA, from Chile ~ 3rd Nov 2009

Perfectly located infront of the bus station for those making a fly by visit to Mendoza. About ten minute walk to Sarmiento and about 5 more to Plaza Independencia. We walked to San Martin park and in hindsight, the hostels located on Villanueve would have suited us better for party atmosphere and nightlife, but Savigliano is a safe easy bet for those wanting a quiet stay near to the bus.

A bit out of the way, but private room was really big. Rishi, from Canada ~ 26th Aug 2009

If you are on the hostel circuit and are interested in actually sleeping, stop by Savigliano. Super friendly staff, heated and clean. Also pretty cheap! Benjamin, from USA ~ 22nd Jul 2009

The staff is great, really accomodating, my reservation was messed up and they fixed it no problem. Very friendly place. Close to the bus station a 10 min. walk to the city center. Traffic can be a little loud in the morning, but other than that a very nice place. Lisa, from USA ~ 18th Jul 2009

Handy to Bus station. House was quiet but there is a busy road in front so ask for a room at the back. No real breakfast (chocolate biscuits are not breakfast) but for the price, not much more expected! Very nice and helpful staff and a hot shower! Mary Louise, from Australia ~ 29th May 2009

Easily the best hostel experience I've ever had. We went to Mendoza to renew our Chilean tourist visas and this place is extremely close to the bus terminal. It's also reasonably close to the center of town, maybe a 10-15 minute walk. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast isn't provided, but a snack is. The sitting area outside is great to chill out in the evening. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. Stay here. You won't regret it. Jeffrey, from USA ~ 3rd Apr 2009

We enjoyed our stay-the hostel is right next to the train station and easy to find when you are coming in from another city. Then it is about a 10 minute walk to the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in making travel suggestions & planning. There is also a small pool here, which is very nice on a hot day! We would recommend this to other travellers who are looking for a relaxing stay, as this is not a party hostel. Stacy, from USA ~ 2nd Mar 2009

The breakfast was not really a breakfast (just cookies and coffee, that just doesn´t deserve the name breakfast) and some of the staff didn´t speak English at all, which makes it very difficult. Otherwise charming, but unfortunately the outside terrace was just being rebuilt.
