The staff was extremely helpful. One of the workers helped us book our next hotel reservation in another city, and even got us a discount.

Is a good hotel, very well located near people's square, it has that chinese style, the bar is really good to take a beer, what a movie, there is once everyday at 8:00 pm and make some friends, they have also free internet and a washing machine, so i give them 100% for that....

Great location, easy to get anywhere. Unfortunately the air con in the buildng wasn't working when we were there which meant it was like an oven. Nice rooms though.

Only 1 PC to use and the common area is extremely small, just a few chairs

No air conditioning. It was miserable trying to sleep at night.

The place is very nice, just remember to bring an alarm clock because there is no windows!

GREAT location! It's walking distance to People's Square, Subway, The Bund, Old Town and Shopping District. Staff is VERY friendsly, but do not know many answers to questions baout getting around Shanghai. The bar is GREAT with great atmosphere and prices. Wireless internet is dreadfully slow (even for China) and one public use computer has definitely seen better days. Room was warm, but not stiffling - only a fan for cooling and could heat up in Summer months. We would DEFINTELY stay here

Room was nice. Appreciated the free internet (though I had to wait for to get on sometimes). The couch area around the bar was fun, and the staff helpful and friendly. It was easy to connect with other westerners at the hostel, even though I had my own room.
People should be warned though, that in such places the toilets don't flush toilet paper. Its something to get use to if you are not already accustomed to it.
