Great hostel! Its located near the center of Cork, just a short walk from the train station and bus station. The staff was really helpful, the rooms were clean and new, and while the showers on our floor had an odd smell, the ones just below ours were fine. the cinema room was great! Though I wish the sauna had been working too... The hostel has some nice deals with local pubs so you can get discounts for staying there and its in a nice area so i never felt unsafe at night! Staff were really great, very friendly. Good location, only you have to walk up a big hill to get there, not too bad though, still really close to train and bus station. The room we stayed in on our second night was big enough but with a skylight right above the bed and a ilght on all night. We had to hang duvets round the bed to darken the room. Also terrible sewer smell in the room all the time. The third floor room was much better but obviousy having to drag suitcases up 3 flights of stairs less than ideal.
