Smugglers Cove Beach Resort en Kunming, Fiyi

This is a great hostel and hotel. The staff is great and entertaining activities are planned far into the night, all free to guests. Most hostel in Fiji do not have kitchens, but provide resturants. This resturant was pricey, but many of the surrounding hostels' resturants were not so food was reseasonable priced nearby. Buses and taxis were available for cheap transprotion anywhere. A booking agent is available for tours and island trips from 9-7pm. Fiji is a beautiful place. James, from USA ~ 29th Aug 2009

The place is disguisting . The staff is not friendly at all and on top of that they will do everything they can to make you go through as much hassle as possible . My bad disspeared 3 hours after I arrived and no one seemed to care .... The beach is the worst in Fiji and the water there is so black you can forget about swimming .... Smuggler's cove was nice enough for Nadi,but the main island doesn't have much to offer&u just want to get out to the Yasawas off of the coast.It's a nice hostel for a stop-over&is connected to two other hostels very close by&they all share the pool&beach area.Very busy&friendly hostel.The breakfast is very simple but enough(I did see a coachroach in the cereal,ugh,but there are quite a few in Fiji in general&it was a very small one,not too bad,ha!)Giant dorm room,private light,comfy. : Charlene, from USA ~ 5th Jul 2009

its a 32 beddorm!!! next time i would stay at beach escape or capricorn right in the neighbourhood...cheaper and less bed in a room. taxi is 12fijian dollar. theres nothing to do in nadi! go for island hopping! Helena, from Germany ~ 11th May 2009

good location - right on the beach and ideal for a stopover before hitting the islands. very friendly and helpful travel desk who can arrange tours for you. if you don't want to stay in the 30 plus bed dorm then specify this as we booked a mixed 4 bed room but still ended up in the large dorm. otherwise, good place!!
