A nice hostel, good (hot!) spa, and friendly people. Rotorua itself is a bit quiet, but this hostel will provide you with plenty to do. James, from England ~ 30th Oct 2011

Spa Lodge has a really homely feel and smelled exactly like my grannie's house :) The staff were very welcoming and very helpful in arranging different tours and events for us. The location is outside of the downtown area, but just a five minute walk from some excellent restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay at Spa Lodge again.
