The location is absolutely perfect in order to stay and visit the city. Besides, the entire staff is so gentle and kind, really patient and outgoing! For this reason, thanks a lot to all of them! Ramona, from Italy ~ 2nd May 2012

It's a nice and cheap place to crash for a few days - as long as you are not planning on spending a lot of time in the room! We lived with someone who worked at the Village's bar which meant she slept in really late and we felt like we couldn't make any noise, in the mornings, plus some people went to be really early in the evening, and with only overhead lights you had to fumble your way around in the dark. The facilities were good - using UK standards - Breakfast wasn't awesome, no fruit! Louise, from Denmark ~ 1st Feb 2012

Very close to the underground station actually, much closer than the reception. The fact that it has no reception or bar made it a nice, quiet place. No common rooms. You might want to bring a shower cap. Read Owner Comments Olga, from Moldova ~ 3rd Nov 2011

The doorbell was broken, and I stood in the rain at night with a couple other people pushing it and waving to the guy inside - he looked over a few times, but couldn't be bothered to do anything. At least put a sign on the door saying the bell is broken!! We finally got in when other guests opened the door... Also, they don't let you use the luggage room when you check in. But it's a great location and fairly clean. Just expect occasional dysfunction... Jeannie, from USA ~ 28th Oct 2011

A great hostel great location for female :) Just right around a corner from London Bridge station. I was in 12 beds female dorm room which very big and clean. I have got a clean new towel, new bed sheet and blanket ready on my bed right after I checked in. The only minus is shower which you cannot adjust temperature and it kinda too warm to shower (or it was their intention to avoid people taking long shower lol) Read Owner Comments Monphen, from Thailand ~ 16th Jul 2011

Was a nice place to stay a few nights in London. Quite central and close to a tube station. Was a little unexpected that the reception desk was further down the road than where the Oasis is and trek back up the road to find the dorms.Oasis was a separate building to the rest of the St Christophers hostels. It was actually good because it was further away from the noisy bar. It was a mission carrying my luggage up the many flights of stairs to my dorm. It was good that there was a lock under the Read Owner Comments Karla, from New Zealand ~ 4th Jul 2011
